Argentina has so much to offer. From rural beauty to cosmopolitan charm, succulent steaks to wonderful wines. It really is a gem.
However, there has been one constant struggle – finding a half decent coffee. Sure, we are spoilt in London; you needn’t walk more than one block from pretty much anywhere to bag yourself a cracking flat white. Argentina – take note.
Whether it’s dodgy powdered coffee from the supermarket or questionable cappuccinos from a cafe, our caffeine cravings have remained unfulfilled. Until we found Le’ Ble in Buenos Aires. Squirrelled away in the residential neighbourhood of Caballitos, Le’ Ble is a French-style patisserie with the most indulgent selection of croissants, cakes and – of course – damn good coffee. Absolute winner. It was enough to restore our faith, albeit fleetingly, and provided a much needed caffeine boost. I guess for now we’ll have to make do with drinking world-class wine in lieu of fabulous flat whites. It’s a tough life….

Good to see you have found a decent flat white Shannon. Perhaps there’s hope for me getting to South America one day and have my caffine cravings sorted 😉
